Awwwww crap!

I missed a day for the 365 blog nation. I hate making excuses but I do have a pretty good one. There was a pretty windy storm that passed through our area yesterday morning. Everything at the house was fine and dandy when we left for work but the power went out after I left and just went back on about fifteen minutes ago. So, no power means no internet and no internet means no post. No power also means no heat and no heat means a very cold little puppy. I felt so bad for little Layla. Thirty six hours with no heat can be hard on a little one. When we went to our neighbor's house to get some firewood and started up the fireplace, there was Layla right in the front row. I must say it was really cute. Even with the power back on she is still curled up in front of the burning embers. What a smart dog we have!
